When does technology adoption become consequential organizational change?
How the scope and governance of public–private collaboration influence organizational performance, accountability and the capacity to create value across institutional boundaries.
How can partnerships make patient-related objectives explicit and govern them over time?
How payment systems, incentives and accountability can move healthcare from financing activity towards supporting outcomes that matter to patients, professionals and society. A particular area of interest is vertical collaboration between healthcare providers, technology and industry partners, payers and public authorities—moving from transactional relationships towards shared accountability for implementation, outcomes and sustainable value.
How can financial architecture and cross-sector collaboration reinforce value rather than volume?
How clinical innovation can be assessed through economic and organizational evidence—connecting costs, implementation, professional practice and outcomes rather than examining technology in isolation.

Doctoral research
Scope, governance and performance.
Partnerships can improve access, quality and proximity. But patient value must be designed into governance—not merely assumed.
The research examined how healthcare partnerships define their scope, allocate decision rights and evaluate performance. Across the cases studied, patient benefits were widely recognized, yet patient-related objectives were rarely formalized or systematically monitored.
This matters because governance determines which outcomes become visible, which actors remain accountable and whether collaboration creates value beyond institutional or financial objectives.

Executive Education & Industry Dialogue
Creating value across the healthcare ecosystem requires more than isolated organizational improvement.
Invited best-practice session delivered for the Johnson & Johnson Institute’s accredited Value-Based Healthcare executive education programme. The contribution explored how hospitals, industry partners, payers and policymakers can align outcome measurement, financial incentives and implementation responsibilities to support patient value across the healthcare ecosystem.
The session connected hospital financial sustainability, outcome-oriented financing and the evolving role of Finance as a strategic partner—opening a broader line of inquiry into vertical collaboration and shared accountability across the system.
